Midwest Crop Tour consultants found crops showing signs of a tough start to the growing season in the eastern portion of the crop tour from Iowa City, Iowa, to Rochester, Minnesota. Consultants noted the western portion of the tour from Spencer, Iowa, to Rochester, Minnesota, had drowned out spots, short plants, and nitrogen deficiency all along the route.
